An integral aspect of my body of work is first and foremost surrealism. Each piece intends to project the observers in improbable scenes, which look like a postcard from another dimension or a projection in the future. The notions of terrestrial scales, gravity and perspectives are questioned through themes such as climate change, the space race, and femininity. The compositions are made out of stock pictures, which were reworked digitally. The creative process of each of them is invariably unique in the sense that cuts, scales and hues are rethought until their image fragments feel like they were meant to be assembled. My practice of collage started as a "school assignment", then it became a hobby and, with time, it evolved into a powerful tool to express my opposition toward norms and conventions.
